Privacy

This site collects very little, and here is all of it.

Cookies and tracking

The public pages set no cookies and load nothing from anyone else — no analytics scripts, no embedded fonts from a third party, no tracking pixels. That is why there is no cookie banner. Our hosting provider records ordinary server logs (the address a request came from, the page asked for, the time) for security and to keep the site running; they are not used to identify you.

The contact form

When you send the form, we keep what you typed — your name, email address, anything else you chose to give us, and the time it was sent — in our own system, so we can reply and, if we work together, remember what you asked for. It goes to the two of us and nobody else. We do not add you to a list, and there is no newsletter.

If we don't end up working together, we delete enquiries after twelve months. If we do, what you sent becomes part of your project's records, which we keep for six years after the work ends, because tax law asks us to keep the invoices and it is sensible to keep the context with them.

The estimator

The estimator runs in your browser. Nothing you choose is sent to us unless you then use the "book a call" button, which carries the result into the contact form so you don't have to describe it twice.

Email

If you email us, we keep the email. Our email is hosted by a provider in the ordinary way.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will do it within a month, and usually the same day. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Who we are

Tektura is a trading name of Daniel Hutchins, [ADDRESS]. He is the data controller for anything collected through this site.
